See how San Francisco designer Ken Fulk applied his game-changing style to this party-loving family kitchen in New Orleans. 
KitchenAid Black Stainless KitchenAid recently announced a first-of-its-kind premium line of appliances featuring a bold design and sleek black stainless steel. So it only makes sense that the kitchen of 2015 should feature the fingerprint resistant KitchenAid's 30" combination wall oven with Even-Heat™ True Convection, french door refrigerator with PreservaTM Food Care System, and dishwasher with Dynamic Wash Arms. Open Shelves To keep the walls from feeling oppressive, Ken Fulk used custom open shelves over the sink in place of upper cabinets that can easily move up and down. Open shelves above the sink makes the kitchen feel spacious while allowing the owners to easily organize, access, and display their favorite pieces. 
Smart Storage This kitchen is full of storage from recycling and trash pull-outs to deep drawers for pots and pans. Angled drawer inserts actually allow for more utensils while a gentle press with your foot to the toe kick board and out pops additional storage. Creative storage makes organization a breeze while turning every nook and cranny into a functional space. A 16-foot island also allows for plenty of extra storage space. 
Custom Accents Ken Fulk believes the kitchen is the new living room and wanted to create a space for entertaining guests and reconnecting the family. Even the dog gets his own personal touch (notice the built-in doggie dishes to help avoid spillage). To maintain the soul of the kitchen, the ceilings were raised to reveal board beams and the unleveled floors were left alone to keep their personality. From light pink cabinetry to the brass hardware, Ken wanted this kitchen to embrace everything New Orleans.
