I am very pleased with my euro-style downdraft. It is a great improvement over the last one I had in 2007. Much better performance.

I bought this a few months ago and it works great! The different size burners allow me to cook any type recipe! Best cooktop I’ve ever owned!

I have had the gas downdraft for about 6 months. We purchased it specifically because it had one of the highest CFMs (450). When the downdraft vent is on LOW and a burner is on low or a bit higher, the flame is pulled away from the electronic igniter causing the igniter to “click” or try to ignite the gas. After a JennAir service rep looked at the problem the JennAir fix was to put a restrictor on the downdraft to lower the CFMs. I was also told not to use it until I was finished cooking Not good answers JennAir. I wouldn’t spend this much. You can get a less expensive downdraft with equal pull.

We bought the cooktop when we remodeled our kitchen. My wife especially likes the sleek design. The burners provide a variety of btus from 5k to 18k. Initially, I was looking at a competitors product that would have enabled higher btus, but it required a hood and we needed a downdraft (and my wife thought it looked too commercial/bulky). We had space for the 5-burner JennAir model, but I like the design of the 4 burner better and this gave us 6 more inches of counter space.
