I like how quiet Boshch is and it does wash the dishes very well. I would like the utensil tray to be firmly attached to the side of the rack.

We primarily purchased the dishwasher for the sound level. Defintely lives up to hype. There is a learning curve for the loading the dishwasher. Was not as easy as our old 17 year model, but it holds a lot more dishes. There are so many options for run cycles it can be overwhelming. I am disappointed that it cannot use traditional liquid dishwasher detergent. Their quick guide says you can, but the use and care manual says powder or tabs. Tabs are a little more pricey/load, but they do work better than liquid we had left over.

This is our second Bosch dishwasher and we love it. Dishes always come out clean without any food residue and are virtually dry at the end of the cycle. We will never own amother brand of dishwasher.

I wish it was easier to get started. Its hard to start and them you dont know if it has started or not. The book doesnt tell you anything.

Three issues: 1. If I had 40 plates only with each meal, it would be fine. Both the middle and lower rack only have slanted prongs which makes loading any other item difficult. The front half of the prongs should be vertical. 2. The middle rack glides smoothly until it gets within about 5" of the back. Then it grinds and scrapes and is very difficult to push all the way back. Really Bosch? 3. On the stainless front panel, the lower edge is crooked. Looks like it was bent funny at the factory. Reflects poor quality control. If I wanted problems, I would have bought a $500 dishwasher, not a $1500 Bosch.
