I was doubtful when salesman said this was very quiet as my current one was so loud we could not hear the TV , however, he was absoutely right, its so quiet I didnt think it was working, love it.

I would have rated this a 5 Star except the disposal is loud when running. I was very disappointed as my kitchen is in an open area and all the reviews that I read talked about how amazingly quiet this particular disposal is. I had it installed by a licensed plumber. Not sure why mine is so loud. Other than that, I love the features and so far, it works great.

I bought this garbage disposal three months ago and now it is not functioning. Extremely disappointed in not only the disposal but Kitchenaid’s customer service. I tried their “live chat” only for Megan to tell me she had to transfer me and then the chat was dropped. DO NOT BUY

I bought this and had it installed about a month ago. When it operates, it is so quiet that you almost can't tell it is on.
