After Hurricane Harvey we had to replace all our appliances and went with all KitchenAid. We have had disposers in the past but this KitchenAid Food Waste Disposer is extra quiet, fast and efficient. Love it!

We just purchased this 1 hp disposer. Not sure if this is damaged or not. The Disposer does not start immediately, there is a brief hesitation, the blades will reverse on their own! there does not appear to be anything stuck in there but hoping that I can get the answers to these questions... I have a total Kitchenaid kitchen and everything so far if GREAT!

We ordered one for our kitchen renovation and the product didn't work upon installation. We checked the electricity, and even replaced it with the old one, and could confirm everything was fine but this product. It's very disappointing as we could not install faucet until this one got fixed, and the customer service could not get a technician to come to investigate until four days later - By when our contractor will already be gone. Even I described our situation, the customer service still said there's nothing they could do. Like it's just your bad luck to get an out-of-order product. This is very frustrating and my suggestion is DON'T BUY this disposer!
