My background in space planning and design began when I was in high school- working during summers and over school breaks as an assistant in my father's architectural firm. I studied graphic arts in college. I was fortunate to have come into the kitchen design arena, initially as draftsperson working at several kitchen shops in the Bethesda area prior to coming to Bray & Scarff 12 years ago as a designer and salesperson.
As your Bray & Scarff designer, my first step is to listen to you and determine your individual needs, goals and priorities. This way I can guide you toward the materials, products and services best for you, your family, and your budget.
We patiently navigate a myriad of decisions together - from the design layout to the cabinetry style & color, countertops, hardware, and all of the other important details to create a beautiful and functional kitchen, bath, office or laundry space that meets your personal style and functions to serve you best. Together with our experienced and detail-oriented coordinating team, we strive to ensure that the result of your project exceeds your expectations.
When not doing my dream job including designing kitchens and bathrooms, I enjoy traveling the world, to see gardens, art museums and spending time outdoors-hiking, gardening, relaxing and visiting with my darling grandchildren.
