With over 15 years of experience in design, Grace began her journey in the world of real estate as a project manager for a development company. Early on, she discovered a passion for the design elements of each project, particularly kitchens and bathrooms, which quickly became her specialties. Kitchens, as the heart of the home, hold a special place in her approach to creating spaces that blend beauty and functionality.
Growing up in New Orleans, a city rich in architectural diversity—from Colonial and Italianate to Greek Revival, Victorian, and Mid-Century Modern—has profoundly shaped Grace's design philosophy. This eclectic background enables her to cater to a wide range of style preferences, skillfully adapting to each client’s unique vision and taste.
Grace believes that the most crucial aspect of designing a kitchen or bathroom is finding the perfect balance between function and aesthetic appeal, regardless of space constraints or budget. When faced with the challenge of compact kitchens, she embraces vertical design, utilizing ceiling-high cabinetry, transom cabinets, and open shelving to create the illusion of space. She also enjoys integrating compact, under-counter appliances to maximize functionality in a limited footprint.
What motivates Grace most is the opportunity to bring clients’ visions to life, guiding them through each detail from initial concept to the finished space. Witnessing a client's joy and satisfaction with their new kitchen or bath is a rewarding experience that keeps her passionate about design.
