Installed this ourselves to replace our last GE (which didn’t owe us anything). Big plus is the size and interior material. Much sleeker and nicer to clean.

Previous GE microwave was in stalled in 2007. It quit on March 2022. A good run for sure. I replaced it with the same unit and as before it works perfect.

We replaced our last GE with a new GE over the stove microwave hoping that the frame on the back would be the same. The frames were different so I had to replace the whole support frame. Then two years later the new microwave dies. Not planning on buying another GE that’s for sure. Just buzzes loudly but doesn’t heat.

We bought this microwave because we wanted the many features explained in the on-line manual. Extremely disappointed that features we’ve used on previous GE microwaves don’t exist on this one. If I hadn’t already installed the unit, I’d have returned it immediately. Instead we just complain about GE when we use the microwave. Extremely bad performance on GE’s part to list features in manual that don’t exist on the appliance.

Works well, we like the features and presets, especially the “add 30 seconds” for a quick warm up of whatever. We also like the fact that you can see what is in the microwave when it’s running ( a number of models we looked at, the glass was so dark you couldn’t see inside).
