Paint Peeling Off

I bought this oven 11 months ago. I am happy with how it works and liked the look of it until the paint started peeling off of the door. I wipe it down on a daily basis and make sure to not use any abrasive cleaning supplies. Just last week, however, the paint began to peel off after wiping it with a soft cloth. I am disappointed because I have owned this appliance for less than a year, and it is already beginning to look old and worn down. I contacted Whirlpool Customer eXperience Center and complained about this issue. I was told that cosmetic issues are not covered by the warranty and that I needed to buy the Affresh Stainless Steel Brightener, which is only a cleaning supply and will not help with the paint chipping. The door of the oven seems like it is not made of stainless steel, it is only painted to appear as so (to my disappointment). Otherwise, I am happy with how the appliance functions. I try to be careful with the stovetop and although it has a few minor scratches, it does not bother me as much as the paint peeling off of the door does.
