GE makes great appliances we just got a poor design on the ice maker. My wife wanted the black slate color. So we gave it a shoot. Not very happy with it. Wish I could Exchange it for a better one.Â

I really like the looks and the spacious interior, but this fridge is very noisy, like a constant scraping sound. Called about it w/in 30 days, and a tech came out, and said that is just the "freon moving through the system" I have had MANY different refrigerators in my life, and have never had a brand new one being this noisy. I can hear it as soon as I walk in my front door, and that door is not in the kitchen.......
