Big thanks to KitchenAid for manufacturing a smaller profile fridge that does some big things! It fits nicely in small space, and the features are perfect

Bought this for model for a second time because it looks fantastic! Problems from day 2. You think I would have learned from the short life of my first one. Issues resolved and holding my breath.

I like the interior size and space for a counter depth unit. The interior is well illuminated. I read reviews written by consumers who complained about the "delay" in the ice dispenser engaging. No big deal for me. Everything was trucking along just fine until Oct. 2019 (bought unit in May of 2019). Fridge was not cooling < 40* and items in the freezer were developing a layer of frost (though staying frozen). There is an airflow vent behind the crisper drawers and this vent was completely block by ice 2" thick. I took a hairdryer for more than 2 hours. I was able to melt the ice covering the vent and in behind the vent. This temporarily solved my problem. I call KitchenAID service and I was informed that I had a bigger problem. A Service tech would be dispatched. He had to come out twice because a part needed to be ordered. (My hairdryer trick held me over between tech visits.) Upon replacing the part we further determined I had not melted all of the ice. There was still a 4" block inside the unit behind the false wall / back panel. Back where the replacement part was going. It further turned out the root cause of my issue was a faulty connection when the fridge was built. The thermistor was incorrectly assembled. There are numerous reviews online about icing up behind the crisper drawers. I can only assume this faulty build is more than a one off event. I want to love this refrigerator. And maybe I will over time. But I am very disappointed at the moment.
