The family of this galley kitchen had downsized from a large home to a townhouse and were in need of an update and additional storage space for all their needs. The homeowner wanted her kitchen to be a place of serenity with cool, soothing colors, so we dressed the shaker-style, Blair cabinets from Omega Cabinetry in a pale blue/green color suitably titled “Rain.” The refreshingly crisp QQartz countertops in Frost White help to create a calm, revitalizing atmosphere and perfectly complement the subtle, white backsplash tiles from Conestoga. To give the family the additional storage space, we capitalized on the given space by installing cabinets with lots of drawers to hold pots and pans, as well as floor-to-ceiling pantry cabinets with shelves on one side for food and a dedicated space for cleaning supplies on the other. The Whirlpool counter depth refrigerator gives the family ample space for food while also delivering a built-in look and creates uniformity with the rest of the Whirlpool appliance suite. The owner is thrilled with how calm and refreshing the kitchen feels and with the extra storage space for her family.
