Advanced Moisture Sensing
Help prevent overdrying. Three sensors track moisture and temperature, adapting drying times to end the cycle at just the right time.
Dryer Rack
Place unique or delicate items like sweaters, pillows, hats and tennis shoes on the Dryer Rack for tumble-free drying. This rack attaches inside the drum and stays in one place throughout the cycle. Rack ships separately after online product registration.
Intuitive Controls
Let the dryer guide you to the right cycle combinations or customize up to 36 of your own to get the right type of fabric care for whatever you're drying.
Quad Baffles
Four baffles tumble clothes in a randomized pattern, allowing items to open up freely. This helps increase the effectiveness of the dryer for small loads.
Static Reduce Option
Help decrease static with the Static Reduce Option, which combines a mist of water with tumbling after the load is dry.
Steam Refresh Cycle
Release wrinkles and reduce odors with the Steam Refresh cycle. It uses water and heat to get clothes ready to wear without rewashing.
Wrinkle Shield™ Plus Option with Steam
Help keep wrinkles from setting into clean, dry fabrics. The Wrinkle Shield(TM) Plus option with Steam uses tumbling and steam for up to 150 minutes after the cycle ends or until you open the dryer door for improved wrinkle-fighting performance.

The tone when the cycle is finished is weak - can only hear it near the dryer! My 10 year old Whirlpool dryer was loud.

Washer/dryer combo was delivered while i was at work. Upon inspection when i got home, i found the plastic piece inside the dryer is cracked and sticking out. I wouldnt even try to run a load as i very sure that it will just ruin my clothes.

We purchased this lemon in June 2019. The only way we can dry our clothing is by using the Timed Dry setting on How To Dry. All the other functions in the How To Dry setting do not dry the clothes. example #1 if i set the dryer at What To Dry - Towels, the dryer started at 1:36 and by 1:24 it states it is cooling down, turning off 1:21. The dryer has turned off after 15 minutes and the towels are soaking wet! 8 towels can never dry in 15 minutes! example #2 if I set the dryer at What To Dry - Regular How To Dry Normal the dryer will turn off after 10 -12 minutes. The dryer can be full or half full and the clothes never dry! Every setting I set it at the dryer turns off well in advance of the stated time and it is always wet. It could be half full or loaded! We have had four service calls: Service call #1 - we were told to stop using dryer sheets because it throws off the sensor and to change the dryer vent. Repair man suggested we use the timed dry only! I stated that isn't what we paid for. I stopped using dryer sheets and changed the vent but the problems continue. Service call #2 - repair man said two internal parts were not communicating with each other so he would order them and have them sent to our house. He said they were not in stock so it would take a couple of weeks. Service call #3 - repair man replaced the two parts and said to call if it still malfunctioned. I asked if this pattern continued what would occur. He stated that the next time he would contact Whirlpool Tech and if nothing could be done it would be "swapped out". The service man placed numerous wet rags into the dryer and asked us to check when done. We did and the rags were still wet. Service call #4 - The service man called Whirlpool Tech and the Tech stated it was ". . working as designed". The service man stated we can always put the clothing at timed dry. We paid extra money for extra features and the only option that works is Timed Dry! We contacted Whirlpool customer service and they said ". . . sorry but we repair and not replace and Tech said it is working as designed." What do we do now?
