I had purchased a set of GE units, the washer was good but the dryer was awful, they replaced it with another and thhat was even worse, so we returned both units and purchased the Maytags and they are the best units ever I highly recomend them to anyone looking for a washer/dryer.

Terrible dryer

Four months after purchase, the dryer started vibrating and was so loud you could hear it upstairs. Repair man came and replaced the blower vent pipe. He then had to add extra brackets to secure the vent pipe to the unit to reduce the vibration. There was also so much lint inside the blower, obviously the lint trap isn’t doing it’s job even though it is cleaned after each load. He told me I would have to tear the machine apart and clean the blower out every few months. I should not have to do this with a brand new machine. A week after he made the repair the unit started to vibrate again. I had to put rubber blocks under the machine to eliminate the vibrating. This dryer was designed very poorly and I am very displeased with my purchase.
