Stains on clothing

my GE GFW650SSNWW is causing random gray type splotches on clothing. I am working with GE to investigate but no resolution yet. I am using prescribed soap (Tide) with no softner and adding vinegar to wash. Drum and rubber seal is clean. This is very frustrating as it continues to damage our clothing.

Only owned it for a day. It spins the clothes almost dry. There is a very high pitched sound when in spin mode but other than that it is very quiet.
