I loved this machine, 2 weeks ago I would have given it 5 stars. However, at only 3 yrs old the outer tub broke during a cycle it forced the tub forward with so much force that the door was thrown open breaking the door latch. I thought we had a 5 yr warranty but apparently for the first time ever, I only purchased a 3 yr. Which was angering because I was so relieved when one department told me we were covered only to be transferred to another department then told by that rep we weren't covered!! What a horrible let down after being so relieved.In order to fix our only 3 year old machine I will have to spend as much if not more to fix it than I would to buy a new one. I am so disappointed. This has been my favorite washing machine out of the 5 I have owned in my adult life. But due to the difficulties I have encountered with finding parts, servicing and customer service I cannot recommend this machine or Maytag to anyone.

We bought this a few weeks ago to replace a very old set. This machine does everything we wanted and some! We love the large capacity and cycle selections. We can wash anything from clothing to comforters and large bedding. We hope to have this for many years to come.

I purchased a pair of Maytag Maxima XL Front Load Washer & Dryer over the summer. I love the features, my clothes come out spotless, and there is no vibration in the washer. The dryer gets my clothes dry in record time and without wrinkles.

This is better then my LG Frontloader which I had for seven years.Only problem is that it does not have a shorter cycle like my LG:(
