Replaced previous build-in 1&half oven, great upgrade, easy to use. Many new features, easier to clean. Looks great.

Oven was installed in mid-December. It broke down the first time I tried using the self-clean feature. Waited a week for warranty repair. They recommend replacing it. I am very dissatisfied with this appliance.

Overall, I’m satisfied but two features I wish were different. The fan oven is noisy when turned on and for the length of cooking time. 2nd... my old double oven had more room in the bottom oven, accommodating bigger pans. This oven has two same size interiors.

I purchased this Whirlpool with the hopes of obtaining a unit that will withstand the test of time. After three weeks I have come to learn that if you use the self cleaning feature due to the concentration of high heat, you run the risk of damage to internal components such as the circuit board which functions much like the computer controlling vital functions. Additionally replacing the heating elements would require that the oven be totally removed from the wall cabinet to unplug rather than just shutting down the power at the circuit breaker and simply replacing the faulty part. I also am not happy that the oven will shut down and stop heating when the door(s) are opened. Had I known these limitations I would have more that likely asked for further clarification and or purchased a different unit. After spending approximately $2,000.00 one can understand my fustrations.
