I have a large family, which translates to a large amount of waste. So far this compactor has withstood the onslaught. Also, stainless is easy to keep clean. Only downside is how expensive it was.

We just got done with the kitchen remodeling and we must say this trash compactor looks beautiful next to all of the other new appliances (Samsung). The sound and ease of operating makes this a great buy for any home remodeling.

I was hoping for better. I paid several hundred dollars extra to get a Kitchenaid. I could have gotten the Whirpool which was cheaper but had terrible reviews. Was I wrong. I found out that following the acquisition several years ago Kitchenaid is now owned by Whirlpool and the machines are manufactured by Whirlpool. All I can say is the quality is Terrible. The frame appears to have been assembled incorrectly, the alignment is awful and it whole unit is junk! Stay away from these Companies. Don't pay $1300. for a piece of garbage. I'm very worried that if they agree to replace the unit the next one will be even worse.
