Cove Dishwasher Vs. Thermador Dishwasher

Wed Apr 29 2020

  • Dishwashers

Cove and Thermador dishwashers are practically in a league of there own. Sturdy construction paired with heavy-duty racking and powerful pumps create the ideal stainless-steel interior. These two powerful machines are able to effortlessly wash and perfectly dry with little effort.

The Cove brand is part of the Sub-Zero Wolf family so you can trust their quality and craftsmanship. The Cove DW2450 dishwasher comes in a WS version with a Water Softener for hard water. The Cove comes panel-ready so you can seamlessly integrate the unit right into existing cabinetry, or an optional stainless-steel finish for stand-out appliances. You can also order a handle for your custom-cabinet panel-ready unit. The Cove features fully adjustable racks and tines for flexible loading. It has two options for cleaning cutlery for both ball-bearing rolling racks and the third rack. The pre-programmed and custom wash, including true half-load capability so you don’t have to waste energy and water. Three separate spray arms expertly clean every nook and cranny and ranges in pressure from fine china to heavy-duty pans. With water nozzles strategically placed throughout the dishwasher, dishes get their cleanest no matter their placement. No pre-washing, re-washing, or spot-polishing is needed. A near-silent operation of the motor enables the dinner conversation to keep flowing while the dishes are being washed.

Thermador dishwashers are part of the luxury brand’s line of quality appliances. The Thermador Masterpiece Sapphire DWHD770WFM is enabled with Home Connect to give you personalized control, helpful notifications, and remote diagnostics. Thermador’s patented StarDry has the most exceptional drying power in the world. This reduces the need to towel dry items. No other dishwasher dries better. Push to open dishwasher opens with either a push or pull, so loading is easier, even when your hands are full. Use a custom wash cycle with the true half-load capability and dry modes. Thermador’s signature Sapphire Glow internal light illuminates the interior of the dishwasher so you can see the cleanliness of your dishes. The adjustable third rack delivers added loading capacity as well as the flexibility to accommodate larger or smaller items, wider ends, and utensil handles.

Both units have handle options to coordinate with their corresponding built in refrigerator or column. Both are very quiet. They wash and dry dishes exceptionally well. Both have interior lighting to help see the inside of the dishwasher. With the lineage of Sub-Zero and Wolf, I would recommend the Cove over the Thermador.
