Today, we’re comparing the similar features on GE Profile dishwasher and KitchenAid dishwasher, specifically the GE Profile™ Stainless Steel Interior Dishwasher with Hidden Controls and the KitchenAid® 39 DBA Dishwasher with Fan-Enabled ProDry™ System and PrintShield™ Finish. GE Profile™ Dishwasher (PDT825SSJSS)

This GE Profile™ dishwasher is packed with the features that ensure your dishes come out thoroughly cleaned no matter the size or shape of your dishes. Instead of just relying on the wash arm at the bottom of each rack, GE designed 140 clean jets (an industry-leader number) to achieve the ultimate clean. To hit every angle and crevice, the GE Profile™ wash arm is able to reverse during the cycle so your dishes come out impressively clean. Finally, a hidden vent with fan dry extracts moisture to ensure your dishes dry quickly and efficiently.

This KitchenAid dishwasher combines thoughtful features for outstanding performance you can rely on each load. Enjoy large, flexible loading capacity with the Third Level Rack which adds around 35% more space so you can easily clean long cooking tools (like spatulas, serving utensils, etc.) without taking up space in the lower racks. Similar to its GE Profile™ counterpart, this KitchenAid dishwasher features dedicated spray nozzles in the upper rack to help clean deep inside tall or odd-shaped items. These nozzles are actually adjustable so you can position each one to accommodate each unique item. Dishes come out perfectly dry thanks to the fan-enabled ProDry™ System which delivers the best drying performance by combining a heating element and fan to successfully draw moisture out of the wash tub. This dishwasher features a stainless steel interior to resist stains, streaks, and odors while retaining heat to enhance drying performance.
