The owners of this once-dated kitchen longed for a warm, bright kitchen that reflects their informal style. For their new kitchen, they wanted more storage, glass cabinetry, to relocate their sink from the corner, and to replace their tile flooring. The new kitchen features beautiful Omega full-access Maple cabinets in the door style Plainfield and coated in a custom white glaze. The glass door fronts feature a Satin Frost glass for a soft touch. The rich Honed Silver Gray granite countertops feature a 1/8" roundover edging and a 4-inch backsplash to complement the back wall Relic Fog Glossy 4" x 4" ceramic tiles. To coordinate with the adjacent dining room, we matched the flooring with hardwood solid oak floors. The owners also upgraded their white appliances to professional-style appliances, including a Wolf pro-style gas range, a high-performance hood exhaust system, a built-in microwave and a built-in stainless steel refrigerator. By pairing the simple, clean shaker cabinet doors, handmade glass tile backsplash, warm light oak flooring, honed silver gray granite, and new appliances, we were able to create the earthy, relaxed style that reflects the owners' existing lifestyle.
