Built in 1940, this condominium kitchen felt cramped and too compartmentalized so we removed a majority of the walls so the kitchen would open up to the family room. We installed new hardwood and refinished the existing hardwoods to match. Schrock Entra cabinets in the Ingalis style were finished in a white paint on the cabinets on the perimeter and a Riverwood stain on the maple cabinets on the kitchen island. The beautiful granite countertops in Bianco Antico add both texture and warmth, and perfectly tie together the white and stained cabinetry. The cabinetry surrounding the GE Profile® french door refrigerator adds a large amount of desirable storage while the island features custom storage, such as a wine shelf. The counter-depth refrigerator is matched with a complete GE Profile® suite featuring an induction cooktop range and stainless steel interior dishwasher with hidden controls. The owners are so proud of the way their beautiful kitchen turned out and now love to host friends and family to show it off.
