800 Series Bosch 5-Door vs Café 5-Door Refrigerator

By now, most of us are familiar with French Door Refrigerators. But you may be wondering, what is a 5-door refrigerator? Essentially, it is a French Door style refrigerator with 2 additional climate-controlled drawers placed in between the upper French Doors and the below freezer drawer. Here we explore two new 5-door refrigerators that are now available in the first quarter of 2020; the Bosch B36CL80ENS and the Café Appliances CVE28DM5NSS.
The 21-cu. ft. Bosch B36CL80ENS freestanding refrigerator sits flush with the countertop and features hidden hinges and feet to give you a truly built-in look and feel. It features a Multi-Air-Flow system to evenly circulates cool, fresh air which maintains consistent temperatures throughout the entire refrigerator. With dual compressors and dual evaporators, you can get efficient and precise cooling and humidity control, while reducing odor transfer between the refrigerator and freezer. Adjust your Vita-Fresh-Pro drawer to the precise temperature and humidity you need to store your favorite foods, right from your Home Connect app. The industry-first Flex-Bar utilizes typically unused space in the refrigerator, enabling you to organize your fridge in new ways. The Flex-Bar features a variety of hanging shelves, the perfect location for wine bottles, condiment jars, eggs, and more. Both are great refrigerators and offer plenty of functional features. However, in my opinion, the Bosch B36CL80ENS in the best freestanding refrigerator on the market thanks to its large capacity comparable to a built-in refrigerator, slow-close doors and drawers, and the dual compressors and dual evaporators. With all of the flexibility and extra features, this refrigerator comes with at no additional cost it is well worth the expense.
