Get These Dishes Cleaned!

- Dishwashers
We all know that feeling when you empty your dishwasher to find dishes still caked with food residue, wondering Why have they not come up with better machines to make these dishes sparkle and shine?

Oh my, how the times have changed in the dishwasher design world! Here are some of our favorites features that dishwashers carry.
Adjustable Racks
These racks offer the flexibility to accommodate delicate wine glasses one night and oversized platters the next. Some machines feature easy touch options to effortlessly move racks up or down 2 inches.
Cutlery Drawer
Several dishwashers now offer a 3rd row above the traditional top rack for silverware instead of a basket. This rack conveniently fits the oddly shaped kitchen utensil, allowing cutlery to be more thoroughly cleaned and unloading a breeze. The rack easily comes apart or removed for flexibility to fit taller items on the 2nd rack.
Cycles
Nicer models provide a large variety of additional wash cycles. They include an ultra-quick wash for lightly soiled items (in as little as 30 min), a top-rack-only wash for glassware, and a heavy-duty cycle for pots and pans. Many also provide a Steam/Sanitize cycle, which is a great option for cutting boards and baby supplies. A couple brands now offer bottle jet options, so that those small necked items can finally get the thorough cleaning they need.
Noise Level
Thanks to advancement in motor design and thicker insulation around the tub, modern dishwashers are quieter than ever. A rating of 45 decibels or less are virtually silent, sounding similar to rain fall outside. Some brands even added an informational light to let you know the dishwasher is running, as the machine is so quiet.
No Pre-rinsing
Today’s dishwasher is equipped with filtration wash systems and hard food disposers. These features act like miniature, built-in food processors, by grinding up food particles and flushing them out with the wastewater. Say goodbye to re-posited food particles on your dishes and hello to a plate that sparkles and shines!
Dishwashing Drawers
No conversation would be complete on dishwashers without talking about the latest innovation in design, the dish drawer. Offered as small as 16x24x23, the drawer is the ultimate in customizability. One drawer is the perfect accompaniment to your regular size washer. You can just as easily opt for a double drawer, to achieve 2 independently run machines in the same space required for a normal sized dishwasher.
Each drawer is independently operated, allowing you to wash small loads as economically as large ones. The dish drawer can easily be concealed behind kitchen cabinetry to seamlessly blend in with your kitchen. The ergonomic design minimizes bending by requiring less movement to open, load and close.
A couple other cool features are the child lock, to stop little hands from accidentally opening the drawer mid-cycle, adjustable folding tines and racks, wine glass holders, retaining clips (for chopping boards and similar items) and overfill protection to stop any chance of flooding.
