Does your dining area feel small and cramped, leaving little room for entertaining your guests? Many kitchen/dining areas offer minimal space for a large dining room sets. One excellent solution to provide adequate dining space is to implement banquet seating.
For those of you not familiar with this arrangement, banquet seating involves built-in or freestanding booths similar to diners and restaurants. Perhaps the greatest space saving benefit of banquet seating is that it doesn’t require any room behind the seats to push away from the table.
Whether it’s long benches or a wrap-around booth, banquet seating let's you be flexible with your space. Whereas individual chairs dictate a specific number of people to accommodate, banquet seating can fit a variety of people depending upon the size and proximity people are willing to sit. When you have a group of children, several can easily squeeze together on a single bench.
Banquet seating is also an easy way to add comfort to your kitchen area. Don’t we all prefer a booth when we go out to dine over stiff chairs? Bench style seats can be layered with a variety of pillows or cushions for ease and coziness. Or for the ultimate relaxer, even a couch will do!
